    Big Red 250es snow plow.

Just got a good deal on a plow for my 86 Red. Couple of questions. Does the chain in the middle of the lifting bar hook on to one of the holes in the front engine bracket and where does the rear of the frame hook up to?? I read somewhere on this list that it hooks onto the footpeg brackets but I can`t find the post and the plow frame seems to be too long to hook on there.

I've seen a few different setups in action.. and honestly.

I prefer the manual lift types vs the winch type.. faster action and alot easier to use.

but nice setup.. make sure it clears the front fender..

I have never used one but the winch was aready on and the plow came with the manual system so i will be able to try both after i make some brackets for the back and add a drop of black paint.

    that looks awesome, good find!

looks like you may need some custom brackets to mount the plow on a pivot from the foot pegs.

Sweet. I've only heard of them (ATC plow), never seen one. I talked to a local guy who has one on his '86 250sx but never heard of one for an '84 BR. Supposedly it works great! I'd love to find one for my big red. It would be nice to clear the driveway quick after a light snow. Big Red Farmall Tractor takes care of the rest...

someone that has a plow should take some measurements and draw up some plans so the rest of us can build one.

The ends of the plow frame hook into brackets that mount between the frame and the footpegs using the existing bolts. That chain on a Cycle country set-up hooks to a bracket that mounts the the motor mount bolts. If you want I could take pics of my set-up and post them up. My cycle country plow works with a manual lift and its easy to use.

    plow

Who makes the plow set up for the 3 wheelers? Does anyone know of a current company still selling them?
    manufacturer, brand, ??
I like the idea of some one drawing up dimensions of theirs so the rest of us can try and make the frame???
