250r picture

hi dudes
i was out riding the R over the weekend and my wife took a few shots with the digital camera.
i can`t believe how small the R looks with me on it, i`m 6 foot 1 and 13 stone, maybe its time to work out a bit more,( i blame winter as i do a lot more riding in the other seasons to keep myself fit!!!!!!!).
still i thought i`d share these with ya.

Exactly what country are you from? You don't see stone fences like that aroud here! There must not be a stone left in the ground anywhere to build all those!

That's the Yorkshire Dales guys...............England! Lovely part of the country!

Steve,

Nice Pics man. Glad to see you out on the R. Great work. You should post before and after pics to show everyone just how good a job you've done. How's "Project R #2" doing? Pete should be dropping off the forks this week for you. Let me know if there's anything else you need and I'll get it sent up to you.

Speak to you soon.

Cheers mate,
Jez

stone walls

thanx for the replies dudes, yes they are stone walls, made from sandstone which is abundent in the yorkshire dales in england where i live.
the walls are used to keep sheep and cattle in, but also were away of seperating land to show ownership.
its a beautiful place to live and ride

13 stone? What do you do, stand on a balancing scale and start piling stones on the other end until you match your weight?

And I know what you mean about the R looking small. I remember how HUGE they looked when I was a kid. Now all the trikes look pretty small next to all the huge quads out there. I'm 5' 10" around 160lbs (how many stones is that?) and with just me sitting on it they look kinda small.

Holy crap! That is the most awesome background of a trike picture I have ever seen. Over here we have metal posts and wire fences, That looks a helluva lot better. Man that is nice looking.

Oh yeah, sweet 250R too

Dang.... I know how you feel.. I'm 6'4" and 255 lbs.... I don't feel bad on my 350X's, but when I'm down on my 82 250R, I feel like I'm on a 90! I'm mounting up the Hi-Flite seat, so hopefully, I'll feel a bit higher up!

Nice trike and cool pics! I wish I had a way to get my trike over the big waterfalls on our farm. I can get to the very top of the gully, but no way to the bottom. I have to use tree roots to repell down the bank to get down ("rookies" use the ropes.. hehehe) It'd be a sweet pic to have my trieks w/ the waterfalls in the background!
